I'm Jackie, a designer and maker with a passion for turning textiles into something truly special – whether it’s a beautifully crafted fabric accessory or a cutting-edge wearable for brain imaging research.

Through Sewjackie™, I create unique, handmade fabric products that blend style, practicality, and a touch of fun. My niche? “It has pockets.” Born from my background in women’s personal safety and the need to be hands-free, many of my designs feature discreet, practical pockets – adding confidence and convenience without compromising on style. From infinity scarves with pockets and crossbody bags to specs cases and wire headbands, everything is thoughtfully made with real-life use in mind. Customers love the wide and diverse choice of fabrics, the custom options, and the little details that make a big difference.

Alongside Sewjackie™, I’m also the founder and director of Advanced Textile Solutions Ltd, a specialist textile business working in healthcare, safety and protection. We collaborate with research teams and tech developers to design and manufacture high-performance textile products – including pioneering brain scanning caps and soft inserts used in neuroimaging. Our work supports some of the UK’s leading universities and medical institutions, with a focus on user comfort, performance, and practical application.
