My background is in the corporate world as a consultant, motivational speaker and trainer. For the last 35 years I’ve specialised in crisis communications and media relations. It’s been mainly in the energy, automotive and health sectors with major blue-chip companies.

During my career mini-breaks and holidays have been vital. I’ve often called them sanity checks!

Last year during Lockdown I bought a holiday home in Fairbourne, Gwynedd, North Wales. At the time I thought Number 51 Near the Beach would only need new carpets, curtains and a quick lick of paint! How wrong I was!

Now, with the refurbishment budget busted we have a beautiful two-bedroom chalet bungalow with a view from the lounge sofa and garden that suggests that you’ve died and gone to heaven!

In short, it’s the perfect location for your mini-break or holiday. There are many features that make it the ideal holiday accommodation including:

  • Welcome Pack

  • Professionally cleaned

  • Two double bedrooms

  • Well equipped kitchen with microwave, fridge, kettle and everything you’ll possibly need, part from a butler!

  • Walk in shower, bathroom and heated towel rail

  • Lounge with double sofa, relaxing chairs, Smart TV

  • Two conservatories, front and rear with stunning views

  • Enclosed rear garden overlooking mountains and fields with sheep, cows, horses and wildflowers

  • Free parking adjacent to property

  • A 10-minute stroll to the most stunning unspoilt and scenic local beach, shops and amenities

  • The perfect base for touring Wales

  • Well behaved small dogs welcome by interview!

It’s the perfect place to relax and recharge your batteries in the most beautiful of surroundings. Whether you want a chill out, sanity check or an active holiday this is the place where you’ll create special holiday memories.

Walking, cycling, golf, beach combing, pony trekking and the well-known Fairbourne Miniature Railway are all close by. Visits to Portmerion Italian Village, Harlech, Porthmadog, and Dolgellau are well worth a visit. Also within the area are Llandudno Bodnant Gardens, and many more beautiful day trips out. It’s also the pathway to the rest of North Wales.

There are many wonderful restaurants to try if you don’t want to self-cater. And several great take aways within walking distance.

Why did I purchase a holiday home in Lockdown, I hear you ask?!  In a word – destiny!

Let me share a story with you. More than 30 years ago I was in India with my Mum. We visited a well-known astrologer in Mumbai. He asked where and when I was born so that he could check the longitude, latitude and the alignment of the planets. It was easy as I was with my Mum, and she remembered it well!

From there the astrologer predicted many things that have come true, including me owning a holiday home by the sea. For many years I thought it would be abroad but dreams come in different packages! It ened up being North Wales, near to where I’d spent many happy childhood holidays in Llandudano.

Number 51 is my happy and perfect place.  I’m sure it would become yours, too!

Here’s to longitude and latitude!

We have availability for 2022. Do contact me to find out more.
