On average, we spend 90,000 hours at work - over one-third of our lives (Jessica Pryce-Jones, 2010). This highlights the significant impact our career choices have on our well-being and quality of life.

My mission is to help individuals to align their careers with their unique outlook. Through career alignment, transition support, and sales performance coaching, I aim to elevate both individual satisfaction and collective workplace wellness, creating a positive ripple effect that raises the vibration of the modern working world.

We make the best decisions when we can set aside unhelpful thinking patterns, conditioning, and labels imposed by ourselves or others. These beliefs wrap around our core self like layers of an onion. I support clients in peeling back those layers to uncover answers and action plans from a place of clarity.

1. Career Direction:
I guide clients through an exploration of their values, the role of work, and how it fits alongside other aspects of life. Together, we build a roadmap for reaching desired outcomes. If an active job search forms part of the plan, I offer tools such as career storytelling, interview preparation, and presentation coaching to improve confidence and readiness.

- 1.1 For Early Careers Pivots:
Navigating early career choices is uniquely challenging, especially for those in customer-facing roles. Many graduates find it difficult to assess whether to continue in their career ladder or pursue alternative paths, such as shifting from a Sales Development Rep to Customer Success, Product Marketing, or Enablement.

Clients in this phase typically find their friends or family do not fully understand their world. Additionally, they are still growing their skill base and working out strengths and interests. I support early-career professionals by helping them weigh options, align choices with short- and long-term goals, and carve out steps for their future.

- 1.2 Mid & Established Careers Exploration:
Switching careers as a seasoned professional, whether as an Individual Contributor, Manager, or Director, can be daunting. Changing direction often has financial implications and the challenge of leaving behind established expertise, reputation and progression. Factors that make a career switch feel risky or out of reach.

I work with clients to evaluate their career direction, assess the implications of staying or switching, and set actionable goals that bring alignment to their chosen career path.

2. Career Transition: Navigating Change:
Making the decision to change careers is tough. However, the reality of navigating the process can be tougher still, often exposing insecurities and self doubt, even when clients are glad they made the change.

For clients transitioning careers, I create a supportive space to explore arising emotions and help them build habits that sustain progress when self-sabotaging thoughts or behaviours arise, including “imposter syndrome”. Depending on your needs, we might use strategies for gathering feedback, managing time, reducing workplace conflicts, and building confidence.

My background includes working as a Professional Development Coach at a software development bootcamp, where I helped hundreds of individuals find success in new careers. I bring these learnings to my current practice.

3. Sales Performance Coaching
Salespeople tend to seek my support for three main reasons - all couched within performance improvement:

- 3.1 High Performers Seeking Marginal Gains: Those excelling in their roles often want more tailored support than Sales Managers are typically equipped or have time to provide. I offer one-to-one coaching that focuses on incremental improvement and efficiency.

- 3.2 Overcoming Stagnation: Sometimes, accomplished salespeople face a plateau when specific processes stop yielding results. Together, we explore patterns and develop techniques to navigate new obstacles. For example, one client’s deals began slipping; we uncovered issues around urgency and priority-setting, allowing for targeted improvements.

- 3.3 Risk of Performance Improvement Plans: For those experiencing quota volatility, I assist in establishing reliable habits to stabilise performance, reducing the stress of inconsistent attainment.

I am sales methodology-agnostic and can incorporate techniques around discovery, demo, negotiation, closing, stakeholder management, deal progression, time management, feedback, and post-sale relationship development.

4. Organisational Support: Tailored Solutions for Business Needs
My career history makes me adept at supporting organisations with sales training, facilitation, and fractional revenue or sales enablement projects. These engagements include parental leave cover, programme design, coaching initiatives, kickoffs, and methodology rollouts. I bring my experience to every client partnership, focusing on practical, measurable outcomes.
